Homebuyer transaction guide
Keep three radon records separate
For mitigation planning, retain the original test report, the accepted installation scope and the post-work test results. Ask who supplies each record and how the testing fits the transaction deadline. Clarify electrical work, finish repairs and operating instructions before accepting a proposal.

Record an existing system before requesting service
Keep the installer details, system documents, service history and test reports together. Describe visible changes from a safe position and ask what an assessment includes. Equipment operation is not a measured radon result. The Springs comparison worksheet helps track work and testing terms separately.
